“We may be floating on Tao, but there is nothing wrong with steering. If Tao is like a river, it is certainly good to know where the rocks are.” – Deng Ming-Dao
The river cannot flow evenly or freely when there are rocks or boulders obstructing its way, and so it is in our own life, when we have heavy energy or blockages, we also stop the flow and synchronicity in life.
Where in our life can we shift some of these rocks and stones to clear the way and feel more energy flowing through us?
Is there pain or wounds from our past that has blocked this beautiful energy from being received?
What can I let go of and heal today so I can move forward and free this barrier?
To make space, we need to have the courage to release the parts of our self that prevent us from moving forward.
When we make the effort and choose to let go, the river widens and suddenly our vision is clearer, and the boundless scope of our mind can contemplate the many wonders of life and once again, the flow can continue to bring us new energy.
The river delights to lift us free, if only we dare to let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure. — (Richard Bach, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah)
