Rise Up

Great things are done when men and mountains meet.  – William Blake

Green Mountain
By Li Bai

You ask me why I dwell in the green mountain;
I smile and make no reply for my heart is free of care.
As the peach-blossom flows down stream and is gone into the unknown,
I have a world apart that is not among men.

Encompassed by the most beautiful mountains in New Zealand this last week. I sat in awe of its power and expansive energy.  Each time I connected, I felt myself rise up to meet them.

  1. Such beauty! Glad you are there to enjoy it. My home sits in a desert valley. There are mountains in every direction but I am not in them and they are certainly not spectacular ones like these! But it is possible for me to take a forty-five minute drive and get up into some pines, at least.

  2. New Zealand is amazing!!! So happy you got to be there and rise up to those mountains!

  3. How wonderful that you had a chance to experience that. So magnificent!!! Thanks for sharing a bit of it with us. Great photos ☺

      1. Nature on a whole is very awe-inspiring. The intricately crafted masterpieces are a testament to how small we are in the grand scheme of things. Yet we are so blessed to be able to enjoy it all. Have a wonderful weekend 🌷

  4. I love this! I am following your site Karen but seeing some of your posts in my reader. This has happened before, not sure why. I will stop by though sometimes because I love your work.
