Acceptance

Happiness can only exist in acceptance – George Orwell

The nature of things transcends all thought

Let go of thy rigid thoughts on rusted ideas

Unfurl your dusty wings……Zen quote

Whatever I am resisting, justifying, fighting for or fighting against in this moment, will never be found, will never bring peace.

It is only through complete acceptance of what is, of everything and everyone in my life in this moment, that I find healing and the path to true abundance.

  1. This is beautiful wisdom, Karen, and I believe it to be true. I feel I am getting just a hint better in the acceptance department, but have to be vigilant all the time 🙂

  2. This wisdom resonates so much Karen. Thank you for the gentle nudge to bring our awareness to what we might not be accepting right now. 💛

  3. I agree that living in the moment and experiencing abundance can lead people to real healing. I also believe that achieving BALANCE is essential to become healthy. Therefore, the concepts of “challenge” and “acceptance” must be weighed during different times of our lives to determine which is needed to take precedent at a particular moment in time.
I believe understanding these individual needs and determining which is needed to return a person to a state of equilibrium will lead to a path of inner healing.

    1. Interestingly I think the challenge is “acceptance” Jonathan. Accepting we are responsible. Accepting we need to make changes. Accepting we are vulnerable. Many people just ignore this acceptance and so keep trapped in their pain and resistance. Thankyou for your thoughts.

  4. So wise and true, Karen! There are many things going on in the world theater, where I have to ‘helicopter up’ and trust that from on high all is as it should be.

  5. The GIF matches this idea of freeing oneself ~ “Whatever I am resisting…will never bring peace…acceptance of what is, I find healing and the path to true abundance.” Words to reflect upon ~ wish you a great day Karen.

  6. “Let go of thy rigid thoughts on rusted ideas”–ooh, I could just chew on those words, they’re so good:). You always seem to provide just the right advice/reminders at the right time.

  7. Karen wonderful quote sometimes I just sit with what is going on in my life, acceptance can be hard but its best if i don’t resist my journey. I bought your book today and waiting patiently for it to arrive.

    1. Good morning! Yes acceptance is not easy at the best of times but it clearly has been what helps move me forward through any situation. Thankyou for buying my book. I really appreciate it and look forward to your feedback, thanks Kath. 💜🙏🏻
