“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” Charles Darwin
Change can bring incredible opportunities. It can allow resiliency and new abilities to surface. Change can be a gateway to cultivating inner wisdom, leading us to greater wholeness and happiness. Sometimes the challenge of change carries a hidden gift within it, a seed of promise for a different future.
Whatever change brings us, we need to move with it like the wind, not against it. When we focus on what we gain from change, rather than on what we lose, we grow and live in the fullness of this moment.
Oh, plenty of changes going on right now! FMI, I just shared this on another post in my Reader: https://graycrawford.net/2016/05/25/tension-and-transcendence-saturn-jupiter-and-neptune/
Aloha.
Yes I think a few of us are experiencing big changes Bela! I’m moving with it 💚 thanks for the link ✨
Sure. He’s a fabulous depth astrologer. I go back to his site, again and again, when I’m wondering what’s up!
It’s a good day when we remember this Karen. Great post! ❤

I agree Diana. Thankyou 💜

Perfect post to R-B this morning.
I’m feeling it (the change thing) theses days and all my skirting around the issue will come to an end next week.
Thankyou and I am glad it helped. 🙏🏻
Move like the wind, not against it. OK.
Sometimes easier said then done! 😬
Lovely, move with the wind just like the breath.
Yes exactly! We are always present when we do that. Thankyou ❤️
I agree with your message. Speaking to a race that finds comfort in ritual patterns of living, the concept of “change” is often challenged. It produces unknown outcomes and potentially alters a comfortable rhythm requiring new adaptation. Although this concern or fear of change is legitimate, we must recognize and accept the dynamic and ever changing world we live in. This is much more easily accomplished if we learn to move in harmony with the wind (as you suggest.)
I agree everyone feels comfort in the familiar but we don’t grow in our comfort zones. Thankyou Jonathan.
Change is so hard sometimes. But fighting it is a losing battle. Feels much better to flow with it. The change that scares me the most is climate change. It is interesting to see – and I see it in a big way here – how the different species are coping with change. Some ok, others not so much. It’s sad to lose ones I love. Great post, Karen. Thanks.
Blessings
Mary
We are all responsible for climate change Mary and how we treat our environment. Unfortunately Mother Nature pays the price as we will too in the future. Our choices each day are important. Thankyou for looking after the land so beautifully 💜💜
Change is a natural state.when we think otherwise we struggle.
Thanks for this thoughtful post Karen ❤️
Very true Val. Thankyou 💚
A beautiful post! Thank you for the encouragement.
Thankyou for your support Nico. Blessings 🙏🏻
Peace.
I love your post about change. Change is never easy and someone once compared change to death. There are grief, mourning and a sense of loss attached to change. Here is my post dealing with change check it out.

Thanks Keith and for your link. We are always learning through change.
Sometimes I think the most difficult thing in life is having to adjust to change (unwanted change especially), even though it is so necessary. The quote you have here I’ve never seen before, and it is perfect as it shines light on not just on the need for change but how change can truly be for the good. As you say, the key is to “focus on what we gain from change” 🙂 Wish you a great Sunday Karen, take care.
Thankyou Randall. It is difficult and we all face it as you say. The quicker we accept this change, the more we move forward onto the right path. Have a great day too 🙏🏻
Beautiful reminder for the changes I am now facing…thank you! I hope your soul moves with that wind! Have a great week!
Thankyou Lorrie! So lovely to hear from you. I think we are all going through some big changes and so I am learning very fast to go with it. Have a great week too. 🙂
This is so true, and beautifully said, Karen! I have experienced it many times myself and always talk about it with my clients – usually when I come in something is about to change for them. And people are often resisting the challenge of change, fearing the unknown lurking behind the horizon.
Exactly Helen. “A resistance to the horizon” If they only knew what was beyond their fears. 🙂
Amen!
Thankyou Lisa! 🙂
“Whatever change brings us, we need to move with it like the wind, not against it. ”
I love this line. Great post!
Thankyou! I agree, it’s a a lesson that we all need to embrace. 💜
Change is good, healthy and keeps us moving forward…..I used to be afraid of change…believed it would always be for the worst…I couldn’t be more wrong….steady as she goes, – meeting each day and change with positive outlook and smiles…..stand in the wind, rain, or sun and let is wash over you, let it cleanse you and leave you feeling full of life and energized…..kat
Love your comment Kat! It’s a gift to know this about change. 💜💜
There is a meditation I do that has you visualize a swiftly moving stream. When resisting a change, it is akin to holding onto a tree branch, half in and half out of the water, getting buffeted with every current. I often visualize this when I’m resisting what’s happening–and I let go:). Sounds simple, but it helps . . .
I love this meditation Kristine. When we are resisting change this is exactly what we do. Thanks for sharing 💚💚
I used to hate change. I had to get slapped to know that I have to be receptive to change. Living the life I live, where I move from one country to another for work, I really have to be willing to accept and adapt to change.
I hope you find happiness wherever wind takes you. 😉
I think we have all felt the challenge of change Rommel. Your job definitely helps you adapt and look at the amazing places and experiences you have had because of it! Thankyou and I wish you the same 🙏🏻
I like what you’ve said – “we need to move with it like the wind, not against it”. Harness the wind!
Yes and there is plenty of wind here today! Reminds me to flow with it. Have a great weekend MK. 🙏🏻
