Unexpected Path

 When detours, changes and surprises arrive in our life, we are often faced with an unexpected event.  No matter how detailed our plans are, and how clear we believe the road ahead to be, there are times when the best plans are interrupted by unforseen circumstances.

At first these detours or changes seem inconvenient, but a surprise turn of events can send you on an unexpected path that can lead you to a deeper understanding of yourself.

Can you trust that life will unfold exactly as it should?  Can you let go of the expectations you place on yourself and others?

Expansion

In expanding our minds to open and think differently, we will find a limitless expression of love, joy, worthiness and abundance.

We contract this gift of expansion with emotions such as anger, greed, ego and fear and when we react to these emotions, it empowers them and binds us even tighter in the chains of delusion, therefore limiting us.

Discovering our Goodness

If by taking a moment to self reflect, we realise the preciousness of our life and our connection with others, we can begin to feel the goodness that has sustained throughout all time. –  Sakyong Mipham

No matter how difficult life can be at times, basic goodness is undiluted by conditions, for it cannot change.  If enough of us can feel our goodness, then, during our most challenging times, we need not break down, but actually become stronger.

Patience

I think it takes great strength and courage to be patient.  I have failed many times to surrender to this gift and yet when I do, it always allows my life to be exactly where it should be, without effort or stress.
