Resistance: ‘The refusal to accept or comply with something that does not and will never, align with your truth.’
During this strong full moon in Leo, I thought it would be appropriate to share this powerful story in history as an example of what can happen when we have to courage to stand in our truth and say, ‘No.’
‘The date is 28 September 1943.
In the headquarters of the Workers Assembly Building in Copenhagen a visitor in a Nazi uniform stands before a village of Danish men and women. They are staring at him in shock.
“A disaster is at hand,’ the man is saying. ‘Ships will anchor at the mooring off Copenhagen very soon and every Jewish countrymen who gets caught will be transported to an unknown fate.’
The young man sharing and warning the Danish of this devastating news, is a converted Nazi soldier, Georg Ferdinand Duckwitz, and he will go down in history that night as the one who worked a miracle.
The raid was set to take place on Friday 1st October 1943, following detailed plans drawn up by the SS. At the stroke of 8 p.m., hundreds of German troops would begin knocking on doors up and down the country to round up all the Danish Jews.
But, after being forewarned, tens of thousands of ordinary Danes-barbers and bartenders, builders and businessmen – who refused to submit to this plan, all worked together to flee and travel to safety.
In fact, thanks to the bravery and the resistance of Georg Ferdinand Duckwitz , almost 99 per cent of Denmark’s Jews survived the war.’

‘May we all find the courage to stand in our power and align with our truth.‘
Yes indeed kind lady, that resistance to an evil beyond words takes great courage…and a very profound love of ourselves knowing the danger we are standing in. Great post, may we all say no to what is coming ❤️🙏

We all need to find our inner power and stand in our truth because the world is upside down now and it’s easy to get discouraged and very lost. Thank you, Karen for helping us to find our true being.
This is so true Michele. We can only align with our own truth and freedom and this in turn, will expand the collective and give us all hope for the future. Thank you for your part in this. 🙏🏻💞

Dear Karen
We agree, we are doomed without this courage. Everybody has to be brave, even if it is only a little bit he or she can do.
