Peace

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE - September 21, 2021 | National Today

The day I understood everything, was the day I stopped trying to figure everything out. The day I knew peace was the day I let everything go – C. Joybell C.

Feeling peace within, is a gift that everyone seeks.

Often we search for this in others, or from an experience, but I learned a long time ago it was letting go that awakened this peace within.

To do this takes time and patience. However, because peace is our natural state of well-being, the more we let go of what is not authentic in us, the more peace we will feel.

Being mentally and spiritually at peace means we know ourselves. We know what we are capable of, we know what we love, we know what we feel passionate about in life. Each time we awaken this, the more we feel at home within.

  1. True words they are dear lady. This ‘life’ is a hanging on to so much. But we learn to slowly let it go and stand in that beauty of calm and peace…and finally, appreciatively, gladly…be free ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½
Beautiful post Karen, thank you for sharing πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

  2. the more we let go of what is not authentic in us, the more peace we will feel – this is so perfect and important reminder. Your post is so fully relevant, I agree and loved reading it.

  3. Letting go of what’s not us, not authentic. This message is meant for me today:). It’s hard even for the strong to stand up to what society says is admirable, beautiful, etc. We need to remember who we are and stick to it . . . even as it/we evolve. Thanks, Karen!

  4. So true Karen. Thank you for reminding us. Sometimes we get so involved with loved ones and things get hectic that we forget to practice the peace that is inside of us just waiting.

  5. Thank you for this message. It was reassuring.
I have found this to be true. You have written it so clearly.

  6. It is so true Karen, in our acceptance of ourselves and others that we can approach each aspect of daily life with contentment and be authentic people, not living in fear trying to find our identity or copy someone else. There is peace knowing we are unconditionally loved and responding by loving unconditionally. For me knowing myself allows me to be myself in every situation and not have many faces as many do for each situation. One of the greatest compliments I have received is that I am the same person on here as in the flesh, and I am not afraid to be who I am, as you are sharing. Thanks again Karen !
