So already it’s the 19th of January! And here is what I have learned about this year so far.
It is a number four year. The number four is a number of “being”, it is the number that connects mind-body-spirit with the physical world of structure and organization. Four symbolizes the safety and security of home, the need for stability and strength on a solid foundation of values and beliefs.
It is the year of the 4th chakra in a our body. The heart chakra.
The heart chakra, or Anahata in its original Sanskrit name, colors our life with compassion, love, and beauty. Driven by the principles of transformation and integration, the fourth energy center is said to bridge earthly and spiritual aspirations. In Sanskrit, Anahata means “unhurt, unstuck, and unbeaten.”
It is the center of your deep bonds with other beings, your sense of caring and compassion for yourself and others, your feelings of self-love, altruism, generosity, kindness, and respect.
It’s about coming out of our heads and dropping into our heart space daily, to reconnect to our creativity, our compassion, our joy for life and what we love to do and more importantly, address our heart wounds and blockages so we can release what no longer serves us.
The energy coming through this year is strong and powerful; and although we may have been used to gentle reminders or a kind nudge from the universe, this year we are more likely to get a ‘big push’ if we don’t wake up and clear the heavy energy or make the changes we have been avoiding.
And why is this? To raise the universal vibration collectively not just for ourselves, but for mother earth and each other, and that is a big responsibility.
So if we are going to truly embrace 2020 then this time of year is a perfect opportunity to set aside some stillness time and set intentions for what we want to visualize and achieve. To set aside time to listen deeply to our body and our spirit and to create new opportunities that connect us to the abundant generosity and love of the universe.
