The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.
We must understand that we can only lose by taking the offensive.
Patience and time are my warriors, my champions
– Leo Tolstoy, War, and Peace
In the garden this morning, I realized how easy it was to pull off the dead leaves on the plant or tree, but when I tried to pull off some of the leaves that appeared ready, there was a strong resistance to stay where they were.
This was such a good message for me today.
No matter what wrongdoings are going on in the outside world or in another person around me, I must remember that just because my leaves are ready to let go in my tree, does not mean that this is ready in the tree next to me.
And we cannot make the fruit of a tree ready to pick off just because we are.
The timing of this is not mine to resist or to fix.

Ahh yes. Timing … and what is ours to fix or not. Thank you for this reflection Karen 💕🙏💕
Thank you Val 🤗🧡
Well said Karen, a good post indeed. We always seem to judge that in others…but only because we do it against ourselves 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
Yes and I’ve learned to be patient for others to do that in their own time. 🙏🏻
Amen to that dear lady ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
A potent reminder in these times. Keeping our focus on our own work is what will shift, ever slowly – with patience and time – humanity toward peace and reconciliation. 🙏🏻💜
I believe in this too Carrie. So hard to do at times when we hear of all the injustices in the world, but I trust in this wisdom. 🙏🏻
Yes, indeed. There are many moments when I forget…and trusting this wisdom is what brings me back home to myself. 🙏🏻
Yes me too.
What a beautiful and useful insight! Thanks for sharing, Karen.
Thanks Vicki. May we all heal gently in our own time. 🧡🤗
What a powerful reflection. Thank you so much for sharing it
Thanks Ali. 🤗🧡🤗
I have always been short on patience with myself but not others. My last name means “warrior”. I try to live up to this, taking on the world one day at a time.
We need more warriors in this world. Thanks Evelyn 🙏🏻🤗
🙏🏻🤗 Thanks Lorrie.
