I had an Uber moment the other day!
Usually this type of post is found over at Live & Learn
However, we were on our way to the Queen concert on Thursday night, when the uber driver who looked like a young Bob Marley, asked, “Are you excited about seeing Queen?”
My husband replies, “Well, yes but I wish it wasn’t raining.
Bob Marley pauses, stares at my husband and says, “You know life isn’t perfect?
So often, we think that life should unfold the way we want, always perfect, but life isn’t like that.
And because it’s raining; you will remember this night and this concert and look back and laugh!”
We all paused after hearing this simple wisdom!
And suddenly a new attitude swept over us, and as we arrived at the venue, we pulled on our raincoats and knew we would have a great night.
Thanks Mr Marley for reminding us to live fully in this moment. Rain or Shine!
And by the way Queen were great! 🙂
