“Treat your relationships as if you are growing the most beautiful sacred flower. Keep watering it, tend to its roots, and always make sure the petals are full of color and never curling. Once you neglect your plant, it will die, as will your relationship.”
Suzy Kassem – “Rise up and salute the Sun”
How I tend to my relationships in life can be compared to nurturing a sacred flower.
It is essential that I am involved and responsible for its growth. It is an ongoing work in progress.
To be able to grow my relationships deeply, requires me to understand both the basic principles of what make relationships function well, which includes the relationship I have with myself and adapt to changes I cannot control.
What I plant and nurture today, will reflect in my children’s children relationships.
I reap what I sow.
Beautiful, Karen ❤
"What I plant and nurture today, will reflect in my children’s children relationships."
~ When we adults ignore this reality, we risk planting seeds of hate and fear that produce offspring incapable of developing their full beauty and potential as individuals.
~ I have such a flowering plant in my garden. It produces lots of blossoms during the winter that never open in the spring. They simply dry up and fall from the branches. All the care I've given it over the years have failed to produce more than five to six flowers in springtime. The problem must lie in its roots. Such is life.
Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful reflection and analogy of our relationships in life, through your experience of this flower Rosaliene. The problem is indeed in the roots of all of us. Once we clear and heal this. The flower can bloom for many generations to come. 🍁🌼🍁🌼🍁
❤
Amen to that! ❤
You are a sacred gardener Eliza! ✨💕
🙂 ❤
Oh so beautiful, dear Karen…and so very true about your children and theirs, etc. 🙏🏻💕
Yes I agree. Thanks Carrie 💕
Absolutely lovely, Karen, and the things that nurture can often be so small, yet so important…
I think that is the secret Lori. It’s the day to day nurturing and awareness, “What do I need?” “How can I grow and expand into my beautiful potential?” Once we clear the debris and old roots, we find more space to see the formula for success! Happy planting my friend. 🍀🍁🌼🍀🍁
Your wisdom and truth are reverberating…beautiful. Thank you, Karen
Thank you Vicki. I appreciate that 💕
