Do not say, ‘It is morning,’ and dismiss it with a name of yesterday.  See it for the first time as a newborn child that has no name. – Rabindranath Tagore

Alice in Wonderland laughed.  “There is no use trying,” she said. “One cannot believe in impossible things.”

“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen.

“When I was your age, I always did it for half an-hour a day.  Why sometimes, I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!”

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and through the Looking Glass – Lewis Carroll

I’m pretty sure I haven’t thought up six impossible things before breakfast! but this year in particular, I have started to create change around my limiting beliefs and perspectives. I now feel excited about the opportunities that greet me each day.  I feel empowered to know that my part in this crazy world is important. I am learning to trust, I have everything I need within to grow into a spiritual warrior.

Each day I open myself up to see, the impossible is often made possible, simply by changing my thoughts and actions around it.

The warriors tame
The beast in their past
So that the night’s hoofs
Can no longer break the jeweled vision
In the heart.

  1. I love that quote! Had it on a refrigerator magnet for years:). It’s so easy to lose the magic and wonder each day, isn’t it? I try so hard to protect that for my kids. And now also for myself.

  2. Great post ~ and I really like the opening photo as well, as it fits with the words here so well. Strength to take in all that life has to offer, you are an inspiration, Karen.
