Sometimes you don’t realise your own strength, until you come face to face with your greatest weakness – Susan Gale
A warrior asked his Master to show him awareness and insight, but he kept taking the wrong turns and kept diving into the abyss, where he found ghosts that provoked him, and loneliness that tormented him.
Now that he was more aware of his acts, he did not think this would happen.
But it did. Shrouded by darkness, he talked to his Master.
“Master, I fell into the abyss again, where the waters are deep and dark.”
“Remember something my warrior,” responded the Master. “It is not the diving that causes the drowning, it’s staying underwater.”
The warrior used his remaining strength to get out of the situation he was in.
No matter where we are in life, always remember, we have all the strength and courage we need to move out of a dark situation.
This is so very good to remember, when the world looks too dark, Karen 🙂
Thankyou Irene 💚

Rise. Rise up.
Yes! Exactly what needs to happen 🌿
Love this quote: “It is not the diving that causes the drowning, it’s staying underwater.” Love it. So apropos to so many I’ve known. As David says, Rise up! In this, we do have a choice. Even if it feels like we do not. Aloha.
Aloha! It is so true. I have definitely made this choice in life. Thankyou Bela 💚
It is not the diving …. Fabulous.
It is a great story. Thanks Emilie 💕
I have found this to be true. Thanks for the reminder, Karen!
It is! Thanks Helen 💕
Reminds me of the concept of yetzer hara. Our worst traits, flipped, are also our best:).
So true, and it’s often hard to see that during a difficult situation. Thanks Kristine 💚
A remarkable story that can release us from our debt and set us free.
Thankyou Eddie. I agree. 🙏🏻 Have a wonderful day.
It is having the courage to believe we are enough.
It is. Knowing and truly believing this makes all the difference. Thankyou 🙏🏻
Karen,
Fear has two faces. It is a good fear that keeps one from an addiction. But it is a bad fear that drives one to it. The first conserves life, the other waists it.

This is so true Alan. Bad fear really does drain and wastes our energy.,🙏🏻
