‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be?‘
Marianne Williamson
Are you doing what you love in life? What dreams did you have as a child that are now forgotten?
Why do we settle for less than we deserve? What keeps us stuck in our comfort zones, low paid jobs, or challenging relationships?
Control, certainty and peace of mind, are just some of the reasons why we stay where we are and why we do not trust in the unknown and so, what keeps us in this fear?
When we felt invalidated as a child or when our truth or intuition was ignored, it makes sense why we feel unsafe to step into our power and speak our truth freely.
Until we feel grounded, safe and supported to address our hidden shadows and fears, or test the limiting thoughts, rules and beliefs we have lived under, we will not feel at home in our true nature, our beautiful light and our deepest potential.
When we open our hearts lovingly to the the lost and fragmented parts of ourselves; the parts that we donβt believe are good enough, or deserve our attention, and feel at home with them all, we will re-open the channels of our freedom, our light and abundance once again.
It is a powerful journey Karen, it takes us so far, so deep, even in that avoidance…maybe even more so because of it. But gradually that inner light shines beautifully in that understanding found. Great post kind lady, and a courageous, deep felt understanding within it. Thank you π€β€οΈπ

I’ve never thought of it that way, Karen. Maybe we are afraid of letting ourselves down.
Itβs so true Michele and what I continue to learn is that the more I accept and feel at home with my shadows or wounding, the more I allow my true nature and potential to be seen. π©·ππ»π
