When in doubt, check if your actions are aligned with your truth and purpose.
– Azim Jamal & Brian Tracy
When I am in alignment with my truth and authentic nature, there is an inherent harmony that flows through me and my experiences in life.
However, as we know, we are not always in this space! And so, the question is, ‘What feelings, thoughts, or beliefs arise when we are suffering or feel challenged?
Do we believe we are being punished? Do we blame others? Do we judge ourselves? Do we feel like we have no control when these experiences face us?
Once I learned to observe and question my thoughts and feelings, I discovered I believed that if I was suffering, then I must have done something wrong.
It took time for this old belief to dissolve in me, but over time, I began to see that suffering was not something I just had to accept, but rather, it was an opportunity to understand that my suffering was simply a sign or a messenger, that I had moved out of alignment with my truth and authentic nature?
Once I saw this, I learned that being out of alignment in life, or off track, is absolutely essential for us all, as it helps us grow, evolve and discover again and again, where we are holding resistance and fear within and how we can be guided back to our centre.
It also helps us see where we hold fear to be vulnerable and speak our truth. Where we hold fear to express our beautiful, unique nature with others. Where we hold resistance setting boundaries and nurturing ourselves.
Each of us holds a unique and essential part in the tapestry of all life and each part is equal in value and importance. Remember this truth when life pushes you off balance.
Beautifully spoken Karen, expressed from all those places that ask us to stand in that balance and become that love in life. A great share kind lady, thank you 😀❤️🙏
Yes absolutely Mark. Thank you 🙏🏻
Ooh, cool new profile picture Karen. Looks good 🤗😀❤️🙏
Sadly, I‘m not often in that place of inner calm and alignment. But I‘m already in a generally good place so I‘m not complaining! How on earth can anybody be so aligned like the gorgeous woman in that picture? I‘m soon off to a gym class in which I absolutely don‘t belong. I‘m old, fat, can hardly lift one foot to put over my knee and yet…. it‘s a challenge already to get to the place and then I can do 30% of what the others do, all slim, bending, fit, so there is some room for alignment there too! 🙂
Awww! Beautiful Kiki you are too hard on yourself. I think we all are at times, and so, please know and always remember, that what you can do now is enough and who you are in this moment, will always be enough. 🧡🩷🧡
Dear Karen, luckily for me I have a good portion of self-depreciation, English style. I never take myself seriously and always find ways to laugh things off. Have learned this early and it serves me well. So don‘t worry about me being too hard on myself. I‘m not; I just prefer to laugh than to complain. I may not be well aligned at all times, but I sure enjoy my life. AND I live in a beautiful country with untold natural beauty, a safe government and surrounded by equally ‚worthy‘ and kind people. I‘m GOOD! Thanks for your care and love.

Karen, I so appreciate this today. We tend to self judge to begin with. As we grow and begin to see differently we tend to fall back into that binary of good or bad. What a breath of fresh air to realize (real eyes), to see that these ups and downs are not good or bad…they just are. Beautiful post, Karen.
You always have a beautiful way of summarising my blogs Carrie! I appreciate it, and your encouragement, as we all learn how to navigate this changing pathway of life! Thank you 🩷🙏🏻🩷
