“What is the appropriate behavior for a man or a woman in the midst of this world, where each person is clinging to his piece of debris?
What’s the proper salutation between people as they pass each other in this flood?”
How often do you clean out your wardrobe or life?
When you did have time to do it, how did it feel?
For me, it always feels like I have created more space. I always feel lighter after letting go of the old and making more room for the new.
We cling on to the old, like wallpaper. We forget it’s there after awhile and thinking about taking it off… well, it just seems too hard.
But when we take time to let go of what no longer serves us, and challenge ourselves to try on new outfits and experiences; we push through boundaries that have trapped us and keep us small.
We push through cobwebs that have entangled our energy and what we find on the other side is always expansion, new energy and potential.
So go and clean up your wardrobe! See what no longer fits you, and allow some space for expansion.
See how learning something new or creating a new style gives us more energy and a new step in life.
